Terms of Service

Vechilo is a platform that lets local businesses create a mobile-friendly page with products, posts, business hours, and WhatsApp inquiries, and optionally appear in our public Explore directory. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Service.

By creating an account, completing onboarding, or using Vechilo, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Vechilo provides tools to create and host business pages, manage products and posts, customize themes, track basic analytics, and receive customer inquiries via WhatsApp.

Explore is a directory feature that lists published businesses by category and text search. We do not guarantee placement, ranking, or discovery results.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

You retain ownership of content you upload or enter (text, images, product details, etc.). You grant Vechilo a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and transmit your content solely to operate and promote the Service (including showing your published page and Explore listings).

You represent that you have the right to publish your content and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights.

You must not upload unlawful, misleading, infringing, hateful, or harmful content, or content that impersonates others or misrepresents your business.

Vechilo helps customers open a WhatsApp chat with your business. We are not a party to messages sent on WhatsApp.

You are responsible for your WhatsApp communications, pricing, fulfillment, refunds, and compliance with applicable consumer protection, spam, and telecom rules.

You must only use contact details obtained through inquiries for legitimate customer communication related to the inquiry or your business relationship with that customer.

You must not use inquiry contact details for unsolicited marketing, promotional broadcasts, or resale without obtaining separate consent where required by law.

When visitors submit inquiries, their name and phone number are stored in Vechilo and shown in your dashboard Customers list.

Visitors confirm consent before submitting an inquiry. You act as an independent recipient of that information and must handle it lawfully, keep it secure, and honor applicable privacy obligations.

You must not export or use customer inquiry data for purposes unrelated to serving those customers, and you must delete or stop using data when you no longer have a lawful basis to retain it.

If you publish your own privacy notice on your website or page, it should accurately describe how you use customer contact details obtained through Vechilo.

The Service integrates with third parties such as Google (sign-in), AWS (file storage), and WhatsApp (messaging). Your use of those services is subject to their terms.

We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

Vechilo may offer free and paid features in the future. If we introduce paid plans, we will describe pricing and billing terms before you are charged.

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may request account closure by contacting us.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, but sections that should survive will remain in effect.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vechilo disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vechilo and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) INR 5,000.

You will indemnify and hold harmless Vechilo from claims arising out of your content, your business practices, your use of visitor data, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer protection rules that may provide otherwise.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date and may require renewed acceptance in the product.
